Appointment Ceremony for the Director of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy

Dr. Lee Si-wook, the newly appointed Director, has held various positions in the past, including being a research fellow at the Industrial Enterprise Economics Research Division of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), a professor in the Economics Department at Myongji University, the Director of the International Development Cooperation Center at the KDI, and the President of the Korea International Trade and Economics Association.
His term as Director is set for three years, during which his management performance and research achievements will be evaluated annually by the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
