On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences held an appointment ceremony for auditors at the office of the Chairman, 9th floor, Sejong National Research Complex, with the participation of the Chairman, Secretary-General, Director of Auditing, Head of Management Support Division, and officials from the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements.

Kim Jeong-hoon, the auditor at the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, previously served as the Chief Attorney and Representative Lawyer at the Law Firm JAYU. Additionally, he held positions as a legal specialist at the Urban Transportation Division and a member of the Legal Review Committee at the Seoul Metropolitan Government, as well as a member of the Request Review Committee at the Seongnam Industrial Promotion Agency.

The term of office for a newly appointed auditor is three years, during which he performs the role of auditing the financial situation and the execution of duties within the research institution.
